Delete your Smudge account

The moments you love. The privacy they deserve.

Smudge accounts live on your device. There is no Smudge application server and no cloud login for us to delete. To delete your account, open the app → Settings → Delete account. That wipes your email login, gallery, named faces, and drafts on this device. You do not need to email us to finish.

How to delete

  1. Open the Smudge app on this device.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Read the warning, then confirm.

Confirming deletion removes your email login, in-app gallery, named faces, and drafts from this device. We do not keep a backup, so this cannot be undone from our side.

What uninstalling does

Uninstalling Smudge also removes remaining on-device app data, including local account data. Files you already saved to Photos or shared to another app are not deleted by Smudge.

Subscriptions

An ad-free subscription is billed by Google Play or the App Store, not by a Smudge account server. Cancel or change it where you bought it: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions on Android, or iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on iOS.
